Notes

'Electric Festival' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Electric Festival') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The rose-red blooms have a cactus flowering, dahlia style with a slight fragrance. Each stem carries 2-3 buds, and some blossoms open semi-double. Roy G. Klehm bred it in 2003.

Pairs well with Iris, Tiger lily, and Sedge.
