Notes

'Elemental' peony (Paeonia 'Elemental') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, specimen plantings, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy soil. Fragrant, ruffled flowers open lilac-pink with russet flares in early to late spring. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. Nate Bremer bred it, and it grows upright to about 4 feet.

Pairs well with David garden phlox, September Charm anemone, and Lily.
