Notes

'Eliane' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Eliane') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Its double flowers open light pink and fade toward cream. The plant stays short, so it fits at the front of a bed. Victor Lemoine & Sons bred it in 1928.

Pairs well with Abiqua Drinking Gourd hosta, Miss Kim lilac, Pink Impression tulip, and Sensitive fern.
