Notes

'Elise Renault' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Elise Renault') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Its double pink blooms open in mid to late spring and early summer on strong upright stems. The flowers form a nearly perfect sphere, and the petals are neither too crowded nor too loose. Edouard Doriat bred it.

Pairs well with Iris, Sedge, and Grape hyacinth.
