Notes

'Elizabeth Cahn' peony (Paeonia 'Elizabeth Cahn') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first. The large white goblet blooms have twisted petals and a faint green underlay. Professor Arthur Percy Saunders bred it in 1942.

Pairs well with David garden phlox, Annabelle hydrangea, and Standing Ovation little bluestem.
