Notes

'Emblem' peony (Paeonia 'Emblem') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Its single red flowers are fragrant, attract butterflies and bees, and every stem bears a bloom. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal.

Pairs well with First Frost hosta, Annabelle hydrangea, and Standing Ovation little bluestem.
