Notes

'Emerald Lace' Japanese maple (Acer palmatum 'Emerald Lace') is a small tree for borders, containers, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits. It grows slowly into a broad form, and bees and birds visit it.

Pairs well with Royal fern, Jack Frost Siberian bugloss, and Spring snowflake.
