Notes
'Emerald Tiara' hosta (Hosta 'Emerald Tiara') is a perennial for shade gardens, borders, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes part sun to full shade and average moisture. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. It grows 12 to 18 inches tall and spreads 18 to 24 inches. Purple, fragrant flowers open from early to late summer and draw hummingbirds, bees, and butterflies.
Pairs well with Sorbet peony, Cutleaf toothwort, and Canada wild rye.
