Notes
Emma Belgie tree peony (Paeonia suffruticosa 'Emma Belgie (or Belgica)') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. You can cut stems for indoor arrangements. Give the woody shrub a permanent spot, since it stays in place year after year.
Pairs well with Sedge, Cheyenne Spirit echinacea, and Winter aconite.
