Notes

'Erasmus' asparagus (Asparagus officinalis 'Erasmus') is a vegetable for borders and food gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 2, or down to -50°F (-46°C). This plant likes full sun and average to moist soil of most types. You can grow it from seed for purple asparagus. Rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. It has an erect habit and tolerates salt.

Pairs well with Bogatyr garlic, Mr. Big pea, and Borealis honeyberry.
