Notes

'Borealis' honeyberry (Lonicera caerulea 'Borealis') is a shrub for hedges, food gardens, and low maintenance landscapes. It is hardy to USDA zone 2, or down to -50°F (-46°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. The fragrant white flowers open in spring and again in summer. Birds visit it, and it is drought tolerant. Deer usually look elsewhere for a meal.

Pairs well with Abbotswood shrubby cinquefoil, Mountain ash, Drumstick primrose, and Hoopsii Colorado spruce.
