Notes

'Eskimo Pie' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Eskimo Pie') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. It grows about 22 inches tall and blooms in mid to late spring and early summer. The semi-double white flowers have high crowned blossoms and show small red stigmas in the center. Krekler bred it, and it has large buds with good substance.

Pairs well with Picture tulip, Royal fern, and Spotted dead nettle.
