Notes
'Eternal Love' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Eternal Love') is a perennial for borders, cut flower gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Soft warm pink double flowers fade to white and have a slight fragrance in late spring. The spreading stems are thick and strong, but you may want to add support.
Pairs well with Spotted dead nettle, Royal fern, and Picture tulip.
