Notes

'Ethel Halsey' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Ethel Halsey') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Large, flat, double pink flowers open in early summer. Tall, strong stems hold up well in storms, and the glossy green leaves look good all season. Hans Peter Sass bred it.

Pairs well with Lady's mantle, Sensitive fern, and Picture tulip.
