Notes

'Eureka' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Eureka') is a perennial for borders and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The crimson-pink blooms open in early summer and have a globular, compact anemone form. The stems are red and the dark green leaves are fine and well furnished. H.A. Terry bred it.

Pairs well with Siberian iris, Wild bergamot, and Sedge.
