Notes

'Eva' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Eva') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Deep pink Japanese type blooms open in late spring. The flowers have yellow staminodes and yellow filaments. The compact plant stays medium in size, and H.A. Terry bred it.

Pairs well with Arizona Sun blanket flower, Ostrich fern, and Kentucky bluegrass.
