Notes

'Ever Sapphire' lily-of-the-nile (Agapanthus 'Ever Sapphire') is a perennial for borders and containers, and it needs little care. It is hardy to USDA zone 7, or down to 0°F (-18°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first. It stays evergreen, tolerates salt, and draws butterflies, hummingbirds, bees, and birds when it blooms.

Pairs well with Butterfly milkweed, Alcazar red-hot poker, and Russian sage.
