Notes
'Evered' peony (Paeonia 'Evered') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy soil. Deep pink blooms with yellow shading open in early to late spring and attract butterflies. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. Derek Irvine bred it.
Pairs well with David garden phlox, Star Gazer lily, and Greig's tulip.
