Notes

Evergreen clematis (Clematis armandi) is a vine for borders and low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 7, or down to 0°F (-18°C). This plant likes full sun and average to moist soil of most types. It blooms in early to late spring with fragrant flowers that attract butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees. The leaves stay green all year, and it can climb to about 30 feet. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything.

Pairs well with Jasmine, Rose, and September Charm anemone.
