Notes
'EXC 051' lilyturf (Liriope muscari 'EXC 051') is a perennial for borders, containers, ground cover, and shade gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun to full shade and dry to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It forms an evergreen clump, tolerates drought and salt, and blooms in early to late summer. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits. Give it a spot with tough conditions.
Pairs well with Autumn fern, Wild geranium, and Endless Summer hydrangea.
