Notes

'Exotic Era' peony (Paeonia 'Exotic Era') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen use. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy soil. Its single apricot flowers have pink shading and yellow undertones, and they sit well above the heavy leaves. David Reath bred it as a seedling of 'Marchioness'. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first.

Pairs well with Star Gazer lily, Burnet, and Blue Arrow Rocky mountain juniper.
