Notes

'Fairlie Flyer' peony (Paeonia 'Fairlie Flyer') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy soil. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits. The flowers are lemon yellow with dark flares and open in early to late spring. Derek Irvine bred it in 2001.

Pairs well with Lenten rose, Burnet, and Lily.
