Notes

'Fairy’s Petticoat' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Fairy’s Petticoat') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The stout, strong stems reach 26 to 30 inches tall. Each stem carries one main bud and one to three side buds. The double flowers combine a rose form with a round bomb shape.

Pairs well with Fire Island hosta, Cheerfulness daffodil, Sedge, and False Solomon's seal.
