Notes

'Fall' Japanese maple (Acer palmatum 'Fall') is a shrub for specimen, accent, and woodland use. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. It grows slowly into a broad form about 8 to 10 feet tall and wide. Its reddish-purple spring flowers give way to fall color.

Pairs well with Smooth hydrangea, Witch hazel, and Primrose.
