Notes

'Famie' peony (Paeonia 'Famie') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen plantings. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. It bears fragrant, double white flowers that attract butterflies and bees, and William Henry Krekler bred it. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits. Cut the blooms for bouquets.

Pairs well with Fire Island hosta, Moonshine yarrow, and Standing Ovation little bluestem.
