Notes
'Fantastica' tree peony (Paeonia suffruticosa 'Fantastica') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. It grows 33 to 36 inches tall and blooms freely. The huge, pale lilac flowers have fringed petals. Louis Smirnow bred it.
Pairs well with Elegans hosta, Paris coral bells, Pink Impression tulip, and Ostrich fern.
