Notes

'Félix Crousse' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Félix Crousse') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. The double, ruby-red blooms are large and open in a round shape. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. The stems are weak, so give them support.

Pairs well with Siberian iris, Sum and Substance hosta, and Annabelle hydrangea.
