Notes

'Festive Fever' peony (Paeonia 'Festive Fever') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, and specimen plantings. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy soil. The fragrant, double, ruby-red flowers open in early to late spring and attract butterflies. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits. John and Dot McFarlane introduced it in 2002.

Pairs well with Lenten rose, Damask rose, and Greig's tulip.
