Notes

'Fire Dragon' eulalia (Miscanthus sinensis 'Fire Dragon') is a grass for screens, specimen planting, wind breaks, and soil erosion. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun. Silky, silver white plumes appear in fall, when the leaves turn orange, vermillion, and carmine red. Deer tend to pass it by. Cut it to the ground in spring just before new growth starts.

Pairs well with Purple Pillar rose of sharon, Yellow iris, and Clematis.
