Notes

'Fire Falls' camellia (Camellia japonica 'Fire Falls') is a shrub for borders, woodland gardens, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 7, or down to 0°F (-18°C). This plant likes part sun to full shade and average to wet soil. Rich red pom poms of ruffled petals open in spring, and bees and birds visit them. It sits low on the menu for deer. Plant it in a protected spot.

Pairs well with Coralbells, Cherry laurel, and Anemone.
