Notes
'Firelight' panicle hydrangea (Hydrangea paniculata 'Firelight') is a shrub for hedges, privacy screens, specimen planting, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to wet, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Its arching form grows fast, and butterflies and bees visit the blooms. Deer tend to browse other plants first. Give it room to spread.
Pairs well with Black-eyed Susan, Japanese forest grass, and Magnus coneflower.
