Notes
'Fireside' apple (Malus domestica 'Fireside') is a tree for the food garden. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It blooms in early to late spring, and bees visit the flowers. The fruit ripens late in the season. Charles Haralson bred it in 1943.
Pairs well with Pink Lemonade blueberry, September Charm anemone, and Sedge.
