Notes

'Fireworks' lily-of-the-nile (Agapanthus 'Fireworks') is a perennial for borders, containers, and low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. Slender stalks hold round clusters of blue flowers that fade to white in summer, and hummingbirds and bees visit them. Mulch each winter with fallen leaves. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first.

Pairs well with Butterfly milkweed, Alcazar red-hot poker, and Russian sage.
