Notes

'Flashlight' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Flashlight') is a perennial for borders, perennial beds, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. It blooms in mid to late spring with crimson pink flowers and amber centers. The plant has a spreading habit, so give it room. George Hollis bred it in 1906.

Pairs well with Incrediball hydrangea, Queen of Night tulip, and Garlic chives.
