Notes
'Fond Memories' clematis (Clematis 'Fond Memories') is a vine for containers, cottage gardens, privacy screens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. The fragrant white blooms have light pink shading and lavender edges, and they attract butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. Geoffrey Tolver bred it.
Pairs well with Viola clematis, Claude Shride lily, and Japanese forest grass.
