Notes

'Forever True' peony (Paeonia 'Forever True') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Its double crimson flowers open late in the season and face upward. The stems stand upright, so you do not need to stake them. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. Paul and Esther Simmons bred it.

Pairs well with Empress Wu hosta, Western sword fern, and Bobo hydrangea.
