Notes

'Forged in Fire' peony (Paeonia 'Forged in Fire') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy soil. Its fragrant, semi-double flowers open warm red and fade to a lighter pink-red. Nate Bremer bred it. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits.

Pairs well with Jeana garden phlox, Green Spice coral bells, and The President clematis.
