'Fortschritt' tree peony (Paeonia suffruticosa 'Fortschritt') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. K. Koch bred it. You can cut the stems for bouquets and bring the flowers indoors. Plant it in a border or perennial bed where it has room to grow.
Pairs well with Stargazer lily, Garlic chives, and Arabella clematis.
