Notes

'Fortune' peony (Paeonia 'Fortune') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Single, fragrant coral blooms look like rounded goblets, and bees and butterflies visit them. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. Prof. Arthur Percy Saunders bred it.

Pairs well with Moonshine yarrow, Standing Ovation little bluestem, and Stained Glass hosta.
