Notes

'Fox Trot' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Fox Trot') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Fragrant, single magenta pink flowers open in mid to late spring. Each stem carries two or three buds, and the blooms sit right on top of the foliage. This short plant has good stem strength.

Pairs well with Nepeta, Pink Impression tulip, Royal fern, and Miss Kim lilac.
