Notes
'France' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'France') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Bright globular buds open to bright pink guard petals around a center of cream and white petals. The pink blooms have a sweet fragrance and make good cut flowers. Kelway bred it.
Pairs well with Dalmatian bellflower, Japanese spirea, and Cinnamon fern.
