Notes

'Fred Edmunds' rose (Rosa 'Fred Edmunds') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. The bushy plant has glossy, leathery leaves and fragrant orange flowers with vermilion edges. Bees visit the blooms, which open in late spring, summer, and early autumn. Meilland et Cie introduced it in 1941.

Pairs well with Jackmanii clematis, Bigleaf hydrangea, Japanese forest grass, and Cora Louise peony.
