Notes

French lace (Lavandula multifida) is a perennial for food gardens and annual beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to average soil. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first. Blue-violet flowers open from early to late summer and again in early autumn. The evergreen foliage stays on the plant through the year, and the plant handles drought well.

Pairs well with Lemon verbena, Wallflower, Snapdragon, and Lemongrass.
