Notes
'Fresh Look Gold' cockscomb (Celosia argentea 'Fresh Look Gold') is an annual for borders, containers, and cut flower gardens. Frost will kill it, so set it out only after the last frost in spring. This plant likes full sun and dry to moist, sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. Deer rarely make it their first choice. It grows fast and reaches 12 to 24 inches tall. Butterflies and bees visit the blooms.
Pairs well with Ageratum, African marigold, Zinnia, and Black-eyed Susan.
