Notes

'Fringed Lemonade' peony (Paeonia 'Fringed Lemonade') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Chris Laning bred it, and the fragrant light yellow-cream blooms have fringed petal edges. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first. Bees and butterflies visit the blooms.

Pairs well with Royal Standard hosta, Prairie dropseed, Stargazer lily, and Christmas fern.
