Notes
Fritillary (Fritillaria stenanthera) is a bulb for rock gardens, spring borders, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun. Pink flared bells with burgundy centers open from early to late spring. The flowers face outward above greyish-green stems and leaves. Plants stay small at 8 to 12 inches tall, so set them near the front of a bed.
Pairs well with Snowdrop, Autumn fern, and Blue flag.
