Notes

'Friz-Bee' peony (Paeonia 'Friz-Bee') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. It grows 22 to 24 inches tall and blooms early with good foliage. The dark red flowers have a bright yellow center and a sweet scent. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by.

Pairs well with Royal Standard hosta, Pyrethrum, Prairie dropseed, and Stargazer lily.
