Notes

'Frontenac' grape (Vitis 'Frontenac') is a fruit for the food garden. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun, average moisture, and sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. It can reach 10 to 20 feet tall, so give the vine a sturdy support. Bees and birds visit it.

Pairs well with Virginia strawberry, California blackberry, and Seychelles bean.
