Notes

'Fuji-no-yuki' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Fuji-no-yuki') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The white flowers have a slight purple tinge and open in mid to late spring. They are Japanese type blooms with pink-tinged centers. The stems are rather weak, so you may want to give the numerous flowers some support.

Pairs well with Black Hero tulip, Prairie dropseed, and Christmas fern.
