Notes

'Fujimusume' clematis (Clematis 'Fujimusume') is a vine for borders, containers, cottage gardens, and specimen use. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. The blue flowers are fragrant and attract butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. Seijuro Arai bred it.

Pairs well with Clarence iris, Black-eyed Susan, and Little bluestem.
